[A few things have changed recently, so the information here is not quite up to date.. will be updated.]

I’m a 25 years old computer science student, currently residing in Aachen, Germany. My professional interests include high performance computing (especially on the Windows HPC Server platform), OpenMP, MPI, Intel Threading Building Blocks, C++, web development (frontend development), game development, and technologies around the Microsoft .NET platform (including Azure, for example).

Apart from being a student I am the founder and lead programmer of Impera, a growing browsergame; a developer at sechsta sinn, an ambitous german hobby game developing team; a member of the Microsoft Student Program; and partner (Gesellschafter) at SchleidenHenrich GbR. In 2010 I have been an Intern at the Microsoft Search Technology Centre Europe in London and from 2009 to 2010 I have been a Senior Student Partner at Microsoft Deutschland GmbH.

When not working or studying I enjoy doing sports (running, working out at the gym, and yes, playing golf, newest addition: sailing), meeting friends, bars, scotch, movies, good books, and a lot of red wine.
